If you are in grades 7-12 and are looking for an exciting youth group to be a part of, we invite you to join the Harrisburg Baptist Church Student Ministry. We are a group that's primary mission is to have a passion for Jesus Christ, compassion for each other, and a commitment to God's plan and purpose.  Our weekly classes and devotionals are aimed at bringing us into a better understanding of God's Word, and realizing how God's love comes alive in our lives. Our intention is to provide teens with an avenue to experience God in everything we do. As humans we don't have the capabilities to save others, all we can do is hope that God's reflection can be seen in who we are and what we do and hope that others can know Him through our interactions.

We hope you are prayerfully considering participating in the Mississippi Super Summer Leadership/Evangelism/Discipleship conference 2012 on July 16-20. We also hope that you have been involved in the requirements all year long-since Super Summer 2011. A candidate for Super Summer is continually walking in the truth of Christ and always living out their faith. Please remember that Super Summer is not about meeting certain requirements in order to attend the conference; it is about living out a lifestyle of faith for Christ each and every day. Super summer is not for everyone. But for those who choose to live out their lives in this way, then Super Summer is absolutely for you! Our requirements will be changed some this year so be watching out for them. Sue McAlister will be heading up Super Summer for HBC this year.  Begin praying about God-sized Service Projects, writing your essays, sharing your testimonies, sharing your faith, memorizing scripture and being faithful to his church. Check out this Super Summer space in early January and see if your willing to become a core leader in our Student Ministry and a servant in the Kingdom.
