Harrisburg is a church family built on the Word of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

A sign in front of a church read, "Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Founded 1796" and then underneath the name these words, "Where Men Meet God".  That is our purpose--to be a place of worship where people can meet God face to face and to be a people who share the good news here and around the world.

One reason God is blessing our church is because we are a mission-minded, outward-focused church.  It seems that the more we give away, the more we receive from our generous Lord!
