Tornado Disaster Relief Harrisburg Baptist Church is working in conjunction with the Lee County Baptist Association to assist in the disaster relief efforts. We have received the following requests for immediate needs from the local associational missionaries. Money Garbage Bags Cleaning Supplies Diapers and Baby Supplies Food Gift Cards Personal Hygiene Items (Deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, etc.) Water Non-perishable foods (including snack foods) We are no longer accepting clothing for the tornado victims These items may be brought to the church office or taken directly to the Lee Country Baptist Association in Verona. Harrisburg has already sent some initial funds for Disaster Relief in Smithville and Monroe County and we are now collecting more funds for direct distribution through the Lee County Baptist Association for distibution for multiple needs in the surrounding counties. Cleaning and Clearing Teams sponsored by Lee County Baptist Association are already in place working in the area and will be forming more teams in the days to come. If you would like to participate in one of those teams, either immediately or in the days to come, please contact the church office with your contact information at 662-842-6917. You will then be contacted later by one of these teams operating in the area. Thank you for your prayers, your participation and your support .
